Colonel Tim Golden, Director of Financial Aid

Colonel Golden has served as Director of Financial Aid at VMI since 1987.  He is a 1971 graduate of VMI with a B.A. in English and holds an M.Ed. from Lynchburg College.  Colonel Golden served for 16 years on Lexington City Council and remains active in the community. 

Colonel Golden is married to the former Leah Lee Waller of Richmond, VA, who works as a reading specialist at Natural Bridge Elementary School.  They have two grown children, both college graduates, who live in Richmond.
