My Dear Sister,
I sail in the steam ship Asia for Europe at 12 o'clock today for Liverpool. The reasons for doing so I will give in my next. I gave John Bosworth an order on the Lexington book for thirty dollars and requested that the money should be returned to you. This will do for Father's and sister's graves. Don't ask Mr. Arnold for any money, but if you have not ten dollars to pay Jim Dix [?] for Brother Warren's, you may expect me to advance it when I return next fall.
Much love to all
