Information Services and Ricoh are implementing new FAX Services across Post. Numerous fax machines will be replaced by incorporating the fax capability into the Ricoh MFP (Multi-function printers).  Please see the informational document “Sending a FAX from MFP” on the Ricoh Faxing Option web page to review the inbound and outbound fax process.

Action Required:

As stated in the informational document received faxes will appear in a fax mailbox corresponding to each fax number. It is recommended the departmental secretary and an alternate have access to manage your departmental fax mailbox. Please send email to Help@vmi.edu submitting at least two names from your department along with your fax number.

If you do not know if your fax will be replaced with a new Ricoh MFP, please access this link http://www.vmi.edu/printprogram and find your printer number on the printer map. Then find your printer number on the printer legend which will provide you with information about the status.
